Stand Up for Push Girls

I stumbled across Push Girls, a drama-documentary about four wheelchair-bound women living in Los Angeles. For once, I’ve found a show that exemplifies the power of women and individuals going against all odds. Although I only watched one episode of this Sundance channel show, I am encouraged to send praise in a form of a letter to the producers of the show. Today, June 3rd marks the second season of this show, which I will continue watching and suggest others to do the same.

But why did it take this long for a show to be on cable? Why did it take this long to show people that those in wheelchairs are like everyone else; they act, they dance, and they model with wheels…
